Meg Englander

Hi, I'm Meg!

Thanks for taking the time to join us at Her Heavenly Heart.  Ever since I was young, I always loved to write. I can remember throughout my years in elementary school and middle school, I would do extra writing projects, I would create my own magazines and newspapers, I wrote poems, and I even started writing a few books.  Little did I know that all these years later, God's plan would be to develop that desire so that I may share it with others. My hope and prayer is that the writings you encounter here will help to transform your heart and cultivate a deeper relationship with God.

Meg is Reading Release & Renew

There was a season in my life where I knew God was calling me forward—but I felt stuck holding onto things I was never meant to carry. I didn’t realize it at the time, but holding on to those things was why I felt stuck and unable to move forward. I needed a way to truly release these things to Him, alleviate the weight I felt in my heart, rest in God’s presence, and trust Him enough to step into what He had next for me.

Release & Renew was created from that journey.

This devotional is deeply personal to me because it’s built from the very steps I walked through in my own life—learning to surrender, to slow down, and to allow God to gently renew my heart. It’s a 4-week journey designed to help you do the same: to release what’s been holding you back, embrace true rest, and step forward into the new season God is calling you to with peace, clarity, and confidence in Him.

This journey isn’t meant to be something you rush through or check off in four weeks. You may need more time—and that’s okay. This journey is meant to be slow, intentional, and meant to be revisited again and again in different seasons of your life. Each time, God may reveal something new, inviting you deeper into healing, trust, and growth. I myself have been through this journey multiple times already, and plan to continue exploring this journey in each new season to uncover what God wants to teach me.

And the best part is, you don’t have to walk this journey alone!

Alongside Release & Renew, there is Release & Rearm, a companion devotional created for the men in your life. Whether it’s a spouse, friend, family member, or loved one, you can walk through these journeys together—growing in faith side by side and supporting one another as you all step into what God has ahead.

We also have a community where readers take this journey together and support each other. We can’t wait to have you join us!
